Perhaps a screenshot showing the line in the line manager would enable help to be given

check your signals if one is placed into the wrong direction. happened to me to - especially on long lines. Also use waypoints to force your trains to take a certain route.

Check the terminals that your trains are using.

I would make the 2nd track shorter for troubleshooting. Also, early game, you don't want too many double tracks because you now pay maintenance on every meter of track, LOL.

OK, I would still make the 2nd track shorter, see if that helps identify where the problem is. Just cut off this little piece here, connect to both tracks. It's working? OK, keep moving down the line. You are going to smack yourself upside your head when you figure it out, LOL.

That would be why. Make each track one directional to improve directional efficiency.

its happening when your trains passing the wrong terminals at the stations.
check out, wich terminal they use and set it properly, then its working.
anyhow the game seems to set terminal 1 for all lines as a first default.

I think that the issue is when the trains reach the end of the line and turn around, because one is trying to reach the terminus and the other is going back to the start. will making the track one way fix this? how would I do that?

Waypoints themselves are only really needed on train tracks where you have short distances between multiple crossovers and through tracks at stations (if not setup to be the best path) now. Evey other time, the signals and terminal selections are enough.

Did you put a crossover junction on your dual track at the end station? If you don't, the train will just go back the same track.

One way to see if ther's an issue in your signaling is using "One Way" signals rather than two ways one, so the train won't be able to backtrack, it will just show "no path" if you made a mistake in your junction/signals somewhere.

I put in a x junction at both ends of each station. This very well could be the issue.

do you use one way signaling for the setup?
WildDogsGaming Dec 12, 2019 @ 4:50pm
I have never used 1 way signals. When placing signals, I place my mouse to the far left, press the button. Far right, press the button. When looking at the track up/down on the screen.
