Basically, i sold all my trains and paid up all my loans. Then with the leftover money i bought more trucks to get more profit out of my truck routes that i made for the other objectives of the stage and were turning out a profit. Then i just waited, left the game running while i did other stuff, and money piled up, slowly i bought 2 trains and carefully made it so the second one started running when the first one was arriving at the last stop. Those 2 started making a profit out of the line, and then i just waited till money piled up and bought like 9 trains at once and sent them into the line, the game instantly took it as i have cutted the wait times enough and i beat the stage... it's by far the harder stage of the game so far, so good luck if you are struggling with it.
Yeah, it's pretty much the first thing i do every match =/ set a bus line on every town that ends in the train station or airport. I even fine tune how many buses are coming and going so it stays profitable.
Like in other maps in general, supplying the train route with bus feeder routes is essential. Bus routes can even lose some money, as long as they can bring the passengers faster to the train.
Well, no financial breakdowns in the screenshot below, but passengers did use both of them, overall earnings are positive, and I did complete the mission in one go:

Yeah i did it like that too =/ it was weird that it kept losing money. But after selling everything and remaking it and making the trains slooowly start going at a regular interval (i waited till the first train was at the end of the line to send the second), i found a sweet spot that with 3 trains i got good profits! But more than that started to generate loses, so it became a headache to fulfill the criteria... i believe it got bugged, because i had like 8 trains going at the shortest intervals possible and stations didn't had more than like 10 people at the time and it still said it was crowded =/ i ended up loading a save and buying 9 trains in a row and sent them all at the same time and that finally cleared the stage x_x
But, i have completed that particular Mission with all three medals and the one thing i did notice is that the mission requires you to increase the maintenance on the high speed trains in order to complete one task and also demand a high frequency that requires you to buy more trains that you really need.
This did result in the train line running at a loss, and I'm sure that all the extra stops you added to the line didn't help. All I did to solve the problem was reduce the maintenance back to Normal as soon as I'd passed the mission task. I don't think I even bothered selling the extra trains although I could have done.
What I did do was add ring road bus services to all three of the train stops to help get more passengers to the station. Clockwise and Anti-Clockwise
