I'm gonna lose my mind about Shinkansen passenger station overcrowding

What the hell am I meant to do? Crowding just stays at 23-28% permanently. I have deleted every station of every kind from the map, no buses, no cargo, no passenger, all of them, and it still says 25% overcrowding. I literally cannot complete the level. What am I missing?

It has been a while since I played, I believe stations need to be served by passenger or cargo lines, and at the same time not be crowded. Try building more building modules and increasing service temporarily.

Yes, many missions in the game series' campaign are not exactly clear and cut. And ironically enough Japan is known for its highly used stations.

I tried adding every possible passenger building to a station, didn't seem to change anything. If there's something to tweak, like station settings, I've not found that. The stations have at most ~50 passengers waiting, and the capacity is supposedly 200+.

Is this the one where you have to deliberately cause overcrowding? Better to remove parts of the station, remove all but 1 train. Maybe even stop that train on the tracks for a bit. IIRC that's how I did it.

Ah sorry, there are some backwards tasks on a few levels - In that case, do the complete opposite of what I said! Add an extra train and make the stations platforms longer.
In fact, I wonder if you can still cheat it by disconnecting the road up to station(s)? I'm sure there was a trick that helps.
