Do you still face the problem with the Assertion Failure pr.second failed?
Do you have a save game in which the issue can be reproduced?
If yes can you share it with us so that we can analyse it? It might help us to fix this issue.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards
Thomas
For example, stop all vehicles from moving, and play the simulation, and see if it occurs. If yes, then narrow down. If not, try something else instead.
Do you have a save game which this issue exists? Would be great if you can share it with us.
Best regards
Thomas
EDIT: I am curious if a recent update to the game broke something as I have not added new mods within the past few days leading up to the event that started occurring on the 10th of June. I have also validated files on steam 3 times with no solution.
@thomas.buerkli, I do have a support ticket pending. I am happy to provide a save file there if requested.
Also, did you test on a modless map?
I also tested my main map I'm playing by setting it back to 2019. Played with that for 20 minutes and no issue there.
Can anyone help?

I have changed nothing about the game in weeks and left running for an hour or two whilst doing stuff and never happened, then today just log in and it says NOPE with above error!
Anyway, are you using mods? Such errors should not appear in vanilla. If it does, try verifying the integrity of the game files.
Games run easier on console usually not because of the game itself, but because consoles are standardized - everyone who owns a PS5 or XBox will have more or less the same build and the same hardware.
This is not the case with PC with different people having wildly differing hardware, specs, and an array of different software installed.
