As for fixing the problem, I would recommend first navigating to the location of the bad ZIP in your file browser and moving it to trash.
If the bad ZIP file has 'AppData' or 'userdata' in its path, then it's most likely a bad mod. In this case, removing the ZIP is absolutely necessary.
If not, it's a corrupted game file, which can be fixed by verifying the game's files, however, this process tends to miss files in ZIPs, hence I recommend removing the ZIP first. To verify game files:
