But if you really want to replace all your vehicles you can just select the line, or even multiple lines at once, in the vehicle manager window and use the replace vehicle button to replace them all with something new.
There is a game called Transport Giant (been around for quite some time) where you can just set the conditions and parameters for automatically replacing vehicles, so why can't it be done in this game?.
Because there is no need to replace them.
I disagree, the vehicles look bad and they increase town pollution unless you, temporarily, beef up maintenance.
So you don't need to replace them. As I said. You crank up maintenance or keep it at 50% all the time.
Emissions are totally meaningless mechanic in the game.
I vaguely remember a setting in TPF1 that would allow you to set an auto renew like you're asking for based on the number of years of service, but I rarely used it since I usually upgraded to a new vehicle or added more cars. Maintenance was more of an issue in TPF1.
Then there should be an automatic way to beef up maintenance. I.E. when a vehicle line goes to Bad or Very Bad it should, automatically, reset to Very High maintenance until the condition is good again, then, automatically, reset to normal.
I agree with what you said about emissions.
