Unplayable after the Update
I bought the deluxe upgrade and generally wanted to play the game again. First I wanted to play my old map that I played in February. During the loading screen the game crashes and gives an error message. If I try to remove my mods, the game crashes anyway.
If I want to open a new game it works without mods (I think so, I've only tried it once). But with mods it crashes off sooner or later. Even when I'm in the menu and about to turn on the mods I want to use, the game crashes.
Is this ultimately due to the update or do all the mods have to be updated?

They both require updates that you will have to install manually.
If yes, they would be the first ones to try removing. For CommonAPI2, you have to delete the mod folder entirely - it's not enough to remove the mod from your list of active mods for a given game.

Mods should be unaffected. It is likely related to the update and its installation in your device.

Try verifying the integrity of the game files first, and then a reinstall. Or wait a few days for a possible follow up patch.

I don't use mods in this particular game (because of possible issues like this), I wonder if it's caused by the fact that Urban Games have updated the graphics with a lot of vehicles which then clash with vehicle mods in particular.
Still there after verifying the game. I hope they bring a hotfix for that :/

Mine crashed too, but fortunately, and eventually, a debug message appeared complaining that I had deleted (as in renamed to disable) that irritating birds3.wav file to shut the thing up in cockpit mode. Prior to the upgrade it tolerated the missing file. I've renamed a copy of another quieter file (forget which) to that as a workaround.

You can upload screenshots directly to your Steam profile, is more convenient for everyone involved as some are wary of clicking on unknown website links.

Error message wise, go to your stdout file, which is located in the local > crash folder, and then paste the final 10% or so of the file here.

Also, does the error occur on any saves and maps, or just in certain specific saves?
Hard to say whats the last 10% hehe:

This error message appears, for example, when I want to load my savegame from February. When I start a new game and want to add the mods I've always played with, I get an error message too.
Of course I want to play with my mods and not in vanilla. Everything worked before the update, now there are alyways error messages.

for each "E:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/1066780/" the number after '1066780' is the mod number. go to the workshop in a browser and replace the mod number to find which mods are potentially not working.
this is the first one listed above "1940254712"

Seems the issue is mod related then.

I would start a new map, and add a few at a time, until you find the ones that are causing issues.

Then I would remove such mods from your current savegames, and hope the map will be able to load normally.

Finally, I would contact the modder and report the issue.
Okay yeah good point. I'm trying to find these ones.
Thanks.

No issues here. Mods? Provide logs and details of the actual errors. I've been playing for hours on this run and a few more since the update. Running a 1070 card with 16 GB of ram and an older 3800 something Intel processor. In most of the games I have played over the years almost every single time, it is mod related. Just because they are "deleted" does not mean all aspects of the mods have been removed. Try Revo or get into the registry or search your system for remnants. The game developer is not responsible for your choice of installing mods. Made the mistake myself once with a game and still run into issues once in awhile when I play Satisfactory with mods. I've started more new games than I care too but it is what it is when I chose to use mods.

That message from the eatglobal script is strictly informational in nature. It is not an error message.

OP - have you tried deleting the shader and texture caches?

Is the ealglobal script indigenous to the game? Looks to me like it says workshop...

So what? The error is coming from the renderer.
