Assertion Failure: Assertion `count == 1' failed CRASH, ALSO HAPPENS ON CLEAN INSTALLS WITHOUT MODS
It says this in the crash dump file, does anyone know what could be causing it ??

EDIT: This eeem to be a problem with default game, it happens when you zoom in. No matter if you have mods installed or not or even a fresh clean install on a brand new pc it still happens. Hope it gets fixed!!

Did some close watching what is going on trying to narrow it down even further and it looks to be indeed an issue with the People / Sims when you zoom in on an area with lots of people / sims doing their thing or with lots of People / Sims waiting at like my big train station then when zooming in there it crashes with my reported error so yeah it does look to be a Sim / People problem, maybe their animation or something or maybe it cant handle too many people anymore in anycase it needs to get fixed because everyone will run into this issue after playing for a while with their amount of people / sims getting more and more.

Did more testing it is indeed the amount of people / sims if you only got a small amount at lets say a train station then no problems but when it is a large amount of people / sims then it crashes the game when zoomed in. Now hope they fix this and fast because no matter how you play you will always have a lot of people at your stations.

Well I gues it turns out it is NOT mod related, since I heard from others having the same issue with crashes at random with the same crash report. Looks to be a game default bug which I hope gets fixed fast.

Ok! this does mean i can stop endlessly messing with my mod list i guess and just wait for a mini fix. Until then i guess im going to ummmm Spam them on Twitter! :P Man has a youtube hes gotta crack on with!

Nearly same problem too.

The last days i changed Beta-Status from experimental to none beta. Thought it disabled all mod-references because campaign 6 doesn't show sultans wagon (mission blocker) without game crash. Now in none beta it works but game crashes again in campaign 7 after delivery the second fuel-mission.

Now i'll try a complete reinstall after deleting mod-directories from game-path.

Confirmed a reinstall didnt fix my problem either even though my crash message looks a bit different then yours

Now i've create a backup zip-Folder for my userdata and delete all game files from TF2 including userdata to this. I think there can be a rest of mod references in this directory that was destroyed after update. Let's see if it works. :)

I've to test and replay all campaigns to test if its works.

Actual campaign 1 and 5 without any problem.

That is what I thought about certain mods until it started happening again , zoon as I zoom in on like a city poof same crash again even on games without mods even on fresh clean new installs it is happening. And the bug points to a default ingame location

let's test. There is another glitch, there are no textures for some people, they just walk around with squares. There are only problems from this update. A lot of problems
