internal failure after installing of update and deluxe version

Today I installed the and the deluxe version. As soon as I open a truck loading station an internal failure occurs and the program shuts off. I play with an apple macbook pro with M1 chip and never had any problems.

I got a small white box saying "Internal Error" when I tried to save my game.

Deluxe edition
Fully updated
Windows 10
New game.

Top left Steam/settings/downloads/clear download cache/ if you got a desktop cache cleaner use it as well, restart computer, don't shut down and start up, select restart, see if that helps, it solves 99% of games issues..

Had an update this morning - now everything with MAC M1 works fine. No more "internal error". Thanks!

The answer from @Fall2YrDoom worked for me. Even without restarting the Macbook Pro.

Ich nutze einen Mac, M1-Prozessor und Ventura 13.2.1 und habe das selbe Problem. Seit dem Update kann ich TF2 nicht mehr spielen.

I have disabled the MODS that give better colors etc.
Better RCI
Better Terrain-layers
Better Traffic-colors
Better Contours and
More Line-Colors

And after this I could play again my fav. savegame.

My saved games load, but after 10-15 seconds it shows Internal Error and crashes. I tried to start a new game, again just shows error. What a useless update, that seems to have broken the entire game.

Yes. The game was working smoothly for the past few months with mods, but it now it will only load when there are no mods - which is useless

then you need to take responsibility to make sure the mods you are using are compatible with the new code.

I have had the same problem!
After trying everything else I resorted to re-installing Steam.
Game then re-stared without the 'internal error' message. On loading an existing save-game I noticed that all non-Steam mods where missing. (Un-installing Steam had deleted all my non-Steam mods and my save games, which I had recover from my windows backup.) I then recovered the non Steam mods folder from my backup, Error message returned!
I then cleared the non Steam mods folder of all the existing mods. Game then runs OK. Re down-loaded the only mod that was essential to my games (Power stations). Success, game perfectly!

My game before the update was perfect, never an issue. since the update and the deluxe edition the damn game is unplayable! Really annoyed now. Internal errors and game not responding most of the time. Was this even alpha tested ? I wonder! And its not my machine I can fly Microsoft Flight simulator perfectly but since the so called update as honestly i feel it was a bit of a downgrade to be honest nothing but trouble. How I wish we could roll back to the version of 2 days ago!

it is your machine, specifically it is one or more of the mods you are using that are no longer compatible with the new code. it's up to you to work out which mod(s) is causing the issue. the unmodded game runs fine for me
