New Legacy Vehicles mod from urban games in todays beta update

What does the new Legacy Vehicles mod do from urban games that got added today with the beta update ? Any info about this ?

I'd guess those are the vehicle models and textures currently used in the stable branch, seeing as they have remodeled the vehicles. I haven't used the beta, so it's just a guess.

Just like said above, since the new update will introduce new vehicles, old ones are stored in the legacy mod so old save games before current beta or update will work. It was hidden in the modlist earlier in the beta but was made visible in the last patch

So if I enable it will I get both old model and the new model of the vehicles or will I only end up with the old model ?

This mod is automatically turned on to provide compatibility with older save games, where you are using legacy vehicles.

Ok but when it is on do I still also get the new models or only the old models ?

No. If you browse through the mod, you'll find out that all the vehicles are "multipleunitonly=true" which means they are techincally there, but there is no UI to build them.
