Vehicles are nice, but can be modded in - some in fact are already available as mods. The only one that interests me is the Toyama tram.

The music can be easily imported in from past games. I always shut the animals off first thing on my playthroughs.

I guess the main takeaway are the scenarios.

I was hoping for more features like building variety and control. Well, if the price is right, I will consider buying it.

To my mind this 'deluxe' edition is really a DLC (like the ones with Cities Skylines etc). Nothing wrong with that if it's a worthwhile (worth the money) expansion of the existing game. When they talk about scenarios I hope they don't mean they will be added to the 'Campaign' part of the game. I played (and completed) the Campaign some time ago then lost all the saves for it with a game update. I think there is a way to 'cheat' to complete the Campaign (as is), I certainly don't want to play through the whole tedious Campaign again to get to the new Scenarios. They sound more like 3 additional regions in the World (with the exclusive animals, to each Scenario).

If there are 3 additional regions then this update will be worth it for that alone.

Really? You can even click on them and have a camera following them around like you can with your vehicles.

But new animals means different area's of the World, e.g Africa, India etc.

I will almost certainly buy the DLC unless the price is outrageous. I enjoy this game and have no issues supporting the devs.

Looks like more of a supporter pack than a fully fledged expansion. This is something to get on the side to toss the devs a few bucks, other games would just give you a bunch of cosmetics.

ditto! A small price to pay for many hundreds of hours of fun in this game which has never asked for any money since I bought it. Can't say the same for the majority of AAA titles, or for cities: skylines for that matter....

and if the devs see a market in selling small expansion packs for both consoles and PC going forward, many of us will also be buying them :)

it would be beneficial for everyone playing on PS, Xbox or vanilla on PC or mac.

There's absolutely a market for it. But right now, unknown how much, until the DLCs are out.

Love the sound of new scenarios & missions. The default missions are quite fun, & theres the mission expansion pack by Mats which add hundreds more hours of custom gameplay.
