Weather Mods
Anyone know of any? Couldn't find any unfortunately, but it would be nice to see the weather changing.

This is a much requested feature, BUT.... has been discussed before, not possible as of now ... Urban Games would need to implement this. .... nothing has been commented by the Dev team to my knowledge.

As mentioned for the day & night cycling, why would you want an already laggy game to have MORE load on the CPU?

Because it would be nice to have?

If ever implemented, weather and day/night cycle should certainly be optional, as it is in Cities Skylines.

Unfortunately, no. The closest you will get is using terrain changing mods - there was a snow terrain mod in TpF 1, not sure if a similar one was ever implemented in TpF 2. There are also snow paint brushes you can use to simulate snow in the ground.

I don't really experience a lot of lag, so perhaps like another person commented, it could be an option available in settings. If your system lags, then you could turn it off.

TF2 would benefit hugely in terms of realism imo
