In DE cargo waggon are only allowed to drive max 120km/h unloaded and 100-110km/h loaded.
(cargo on rail travels slow; only 'freight' that travels fast is mail in France; there are some mail-TGV's)
There are other discussions; some people want 25x game speed as "watching a train accelerate is boring".
But when I replay the game with a new EU map recently, I notice the 160 kmph wagon
So I wonder where are the mods for those kind of fast wagons
If airplain crash while doing 800km/h, that could be quite disastrous. Especially if it hauls dangerous cargo such as chemicals.
Do you know how majority of fuell for Afghan occpation was transported ?
Do we have limits speed for 120km/h for air transport ?
So what is value of your argument ?
More than to be limited 'by law' the rail freight traffic is limited for technical reasons. Apart from the need to buy more expensive rolling stock you'll also have to invest a lot in the infrastructure if you wish to have high speed freight trains (upgrading existing lines or making new tracks for high speed freight, and ... don't forget the maintenance for that infrastructure). The fact that, as far as I know, high-speed freight by rail doesn't exist nowhere in the world is enough proof that 'European bureaucrats' have nothing to do with the existing speed limitations for freight trains.

It looks like, China lawmakers dont reconginze "technical reasons", becouse of 350km/h freigth train exists.
Also some stubborn italians who dont understnad "technical reasons" made something : average speed of about 170 km/h
https://trans.info/en/fast-freight-train-can-be-a-serious-competition-for-trucks-117289
inside the article you can spot the "technical reason" as fallows :
Over the year, thanks to Mercitalia Fast, the number of trucks on this route is expected to decrease by around 9,000.
Only a difference of 50km/h over "technical reason" enforced rule by Brussel, caused collapse of road transport in favour of train.
Maybe military does but as far as I know, civil transport are prohibited to have chemicals such like fuel as cargo. Might be wrong but so I have read.
Freight mods I've been using have all been restricted to 120, and most times mods are using irl stats
--- 'Are you paid by Brussel ?'
No. Do you have a problem with 'Brussels' or the EU?
--- '350km/h freight train exists'.
Yes, but that are no 'real' freight trains, but all modified pax TGV's running, probably for a part of the trip, on the high speed lines designed for pax transport. Mail and light freight (express goods). I remember that the first TGV's in France also had a small compartment for express freight.
The Chinese train is a modified pax unit (a prototype) and runs ('light') freight on Chinese pax high speed lines.
'Also some stubborn italians who dont understnad "technical reasons" made something : average speed of about 170 km/h'
The Italian train is also a modified pax train that runs at night a fast-freight service between Bologna and Caserta. One train a day, I think.
The french mail-TGV, that I mentioned in my first post, are modified/special TGV's transporting mail I think from somewhere around Paris to the south of France.
--- 'Only a difference of 50km/h over "technical reason" enforced rule by Brussel, caused collapse of road transport in favour of train.'
As I tried to explain earlier there are no EU restrictions for the speed of freight trains.
It is somewhat strange to see that a statement of Huperspace ('maybe because of rl restriction of waggons due to law. In DE cargo waggon are only allowed to drive max 120km/h unloaded and 100-110km/h loaded.'), clearly referring to the German situation, makes you think that there is a European rule that limits the speed of trains.
Also your reaction on the post from Jones ('It's same in Finland, freight wagons have limited speed of 120km/h. If freight train derails while doing 200km/h, that could be quite disastrous. Especially if it hauls dangerous cargo such as chemicals.') is a bit strange. Safety is a very important thing in railroading (as it is in aviation and on the road). Explaining why there are limits to the speed of freight trains is certainly no 'Nonsense incoming'.
OP asked 'Where can I find cargo wagon mods with 160km/h speed?
It seems all the popular wagon mods are limited with 120km/h speed
Really want some 160km/h variant' (I don't remember the game has 160 kmph wagon before, only 120 kmph. But when I replay the game with a new EU map recently, I notice the 160 kmph wagon. So I wonder where are the mods for those kind of fast wagons.)'
He will find a good answer here above, written by Jones: 'Freight mods I've been using have all been restricted to 120, and most times mods are using irl stats.'
Yes, and the reason for the fact that you don't find 'over 120 mods' is, as stated before, that here are no high speed freight trains and cars (except from the few trains for 'mail/light freight on high speed pax lines' mentioned above.
