Supply chain works, but production is too low
Hello players. There appeared strange behavior in my game. I have machine factory to supply my cities. All connections works, because it produce machines for them, but in low ammount. Checking factory suppliers and consumers looks fine. In percentage its between 70-100%. However it produce just cca 15 machines for city that required 400. So supply of the sity shows 0%. Any idea why it behaves like this?

I have to admit, I use many many mods. At the other hand its strange, just one kind of industry is affected. This factory makes machines from steel and silver. Have stored 14k of silver, but always 0 of steel. Even its supplied from 3 steel mills. Looks like it does not request more steel, because those steel mills has enough resources, and none of them run at 100%.

Would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Do you have a truck drop off station in the city where macines are required?

Do you have wnough shipment from steel to machine factory?

Drop off station is just in middle of the area. Cover plenty of buildings that require machines.

About steel Im not sure. I would say its sufficient. Supplied from 3 sources, and as I wrote, suppliers shows in stats that they sending as much as required. BUT
There is also tool factory nearby using the same station. Its the modded one, with capacity up to 2000. Maybe this tool factory takes all production for itself.
Im just confused of this supplier/consumers stats, that looks like everything is ok. Or I just simply misunderstanding it. Im plaing this game thousand of hours, but I have to admit I never had such problem before, so I never used those stats.

If you have 1 supply going to 2 places that may very well br the issue. maybe try splitting the steel supply so that one goes to machines and 2 go to the other?

You can also check the demand for machines at that factory by looking at the consumers tab. If the total here is higher than the output, then it sounds like your not getting enough steel. You can check the consumer tab on the steel factories to see where demand is going. If the steel plants are not fully upgraded, you will need to supply more iron or coal.
Hope this helps.

@ClearchusOfSparta: yes. that what I did by this issue. total was lower. so seems that steel supply was correct.

I established new dedicated steel supply meanwhile, but nothing changed. Thats why I think, supply was correct. Just factory did not demanded more, because for some reason machines demand was corrupted. On city view was demand ok, but factory had much lower.

Because Im playing sandbox, I deleted that factory and created new one on the same place. After that seems its fixed. Demands are growing.
