Toggle different types of traffic lights?
The traffic lights in this game are somewhat universal hated for two main reasons, I feel:

1. They are often two-cycle, meaning that opposing sides are both given green lights. This causes AI traffic to basically "fight" for right-of-way, in that they try and make a left turn while the other side is also given the green.

2. AI traffic will make a left turn... into a right lane. Logically if there were 2 cars turning into a street that supports 2 lanes in each direction, the car turning left would stick to the left lane and the car on the right side would turn into the right lane. This, however, is not modeled in this game, and cars will cross 3 lanes of traffic to turn left into the rightmost lane.

One way to fix this could be offering two types of traffic lights; a simple 2-cycle traffic light that lets opposing sides have the green light at the same time while giving perpendicular streets a red light, or a more traditional protected left turn signal, where only one side is given the green light at a time. This would reduce the amount of "fighting" at intersections, which may help reduce traffic without diving into the cities:skylines lane management territory.

(But if we get something like TM:PE in this game I'm not sure if I would ever go back to cities:skylines ever again lol)

I'd love to see lane managment in this game tbh. Just lane arrow management would do a lot. And yeh I play Cities a lot. I'm spoiled with TMPE.

Oh.. And I haven't tried making a roundabout yet.. But definatly going to eventually. And probably see the traffic come to a grinding halt. Or maybe it'll work.

Ah thats another feature I miss, I already miss yield functionality. So we could make priority systems.

At least traffic lights are toggled at all. Imagine if they were't.

Roundabouts actually work pretty well. Just make sure that the number of lanes entering the roundabout on each approaching street is equal to the number of lanes in the roundabout. If the approaching street only has one lane in each direction, then vehicles will only use the outer lane on your roundabout, ignoring the inner lane.

Some of us wants to be as close to American as possible and don't want to use traffic circles constantly.

I would also like to see the addition of median divided roads which could allow left turn lanes to exist. Roads need a major overhaul in the first place. "Organic" lane changing like in Cities In Motion 1/2 should have been in the game from the beginning. A traffic lane manager sounds really nice too.

Street running trains (not talking about trams but could also be included) should have their signal remodel to a 2 aspect and replace the green light with white.

I use it, but the cars still stick to one lane...
