Steel plant won't ship steel.

Hello. am having an issue with my steel plant. I have three train stations there. One receives coal, one receives ore, and the third one is supposed to ship the steel. it does not. When I click on the plant, all three stations turn white. I have moved the station that doesn't work three times. Nothing. I even added a truck station and made a truck route. Nothing. I deleted that and tried a different cargo station, one that allows trains to pass through instead of dead end at the plant. Nothing. The ore and coal trains are delivering their loads with no issues, and when i click on the plant, it tells me how much ore and coal are being stored, it even shows production of 200-210 but under shipping it is zero, and the box is blinking yellow. I have doubled checked the cars on the trains to make sure they haul machines, and they do. I have run out of ideas.

Screen shots would help showing your lines and stations and depots.

If you're producing steel, the issue has to be with "line completion", as no end product is being delivered, you need to check on the line and it's delivery from the steel factory to its destination. Make sure you're using all of the correct modes of transport. Rail and road, because that's where the issue would appear to lie.
Coal/Ore is working, delivered and stored. Therefore steel production is your issue.
Nothing is being produced would mean either no line to the required destination(s), or incorrect transport and/or no cargo depots are being used and also they're not located in the correct areas of towns where the said materials are required.

I'm a dummy. I found the problem. When I made up the trains, I was thinking machines. So I bought box cars. Steel doesn't go in box cars, it goes on flatbed cars. once I put the correct cars on the trains, the steel plant started shipping.

OK, at least you know what caused the issue. Mark this as Solved/Resolved.
It does happen from time to time, something gets overlooked and that's generally the cause of the problem.

There's a handy mod for transportation of all goods, that's if you don't mind mods like this one, if not then this is probably a must have "cheat" wagon for freight.
