"Coffee and Colonialism" mission issues
Just started playing in earnest lately, and I've run into a roadblock within the first few tasks of the mission. I've built the railroad between the plantation and factory, bought the train and assigned it to the line. However, nothing is delivering the coffee fruit to the cargo station by the plantation, meaning there is never anything for the train to deliver. Normally, I'd build a truck depot to carry the coffee fruit from the plantation to the cargo station, but since the game has the "road" construction tab locked, I can't do that... is this a bug? I've restarted twice now and both times ended with the same scenario.

Sounds like one of your two stations is not properly connected to the industry. When you click on the station it should highlight the industry nearby if it is in reach. Alternatively you maybe using the wrong kind of station? Passenger instead of cargo.

That was the issue-- the cargo terminal I set up didn't connect with the factory correctly. Thanks!

All right, I've run into a similar issue again on the third mission-- it seems the same problem is happening with my docks. This time, I made sure the road connected to the facility itself, so what's going wrong? Is there another type of building I need to put down to get the docks to start shipping the goods out?

If you are talking about the mission with transporting whiskey to the town via boats than the likely problem that a lot of players seem to have is that they don't actually connect the whiskey to the town where the buildings are that demand the whiskey. They just drop it off near the edge of town and think it will work. You need a truck station that is in reach of the docks that the whiskey is being dropped off at and then a truck drop off point in the middle of town where the buildings are that want whiskey and truck it over.

Unfortunately, that's not it-- the ships are literally not picking up anything from the destination harbors.

Take a look here . The above from @Vimpster is almost always the issue , in TpF2 product will only go where it is wanted. So in this scenario Whisky is needed at the pub and some town buildings , you build a ship route to the docks and a truck route from the docks to the pub area and whisky will then load on the ship.

I just did the Whisky scenario. Mission 3 want to learn a transfer between transport system. In this case : Ship to Truck. As long Catchment - Station - Route Filter - Vehicle is properly setup, it should be no problem.

The green route is the route going to the proper place in town that need Whisky. A simple truck stop will do. And need a truck station to pick up the whisky.

Here is the proper catchment. The port is in catchment with the truck station that will pick up whisky.

Here the ship loading on whisky.

Here a complete scenario routes. Working just fine and making profits !!! and the rate of the routes match up and frequency of passagers line match up.

It seem a lots of new players have a hard time to understand the transfer concept.

And I did not see any "bugs". As long you do a task at a time and finish the bonus tasks before the main tasks.

During the scenario, after the ship is build, you do a ship line, but that line will carry nothing, it is just going back in forth carry nothing. It is when the scenario is tell you to ship whisky, then you setup a truck line to the pub, and setup the route filter, and the ship line, you also setup the route filter. and wait to see some whisky will show up at the port where the whisky is made. Again ... one task at a time.

I just bought the game and am running into the same problem. Did you receive any help at all?

Oh, I'll have to check that, too, but I am getting a lot of collision alerts when trying to place the cargo station closer to the factory.
