Chapter 3, mission 17: archaeological dig. How to transport research team?

I'm currently on mission 17, but I just can't figure out how to transport the research team. At first, I had a bus stop at the edge of town, but moved it to where the link in the mission takes the screen. No luck however. I also don't seem to be able to link the road to the dig site in the same way as you'd do on stations and the like. Any help is appreciated.

Nevermind. I figured it out just now. You can only link it on a single side. Of course, it's the one side I hadn't tried yet (it's the far side for those interested).

I just spent hours until I found out that the round has also be a city road in order to connect to the site - and not a country road like the one I built...

AND you have to use a bus stop; it cannot be a bus station...

The last time I did this particular scenario, I place a country road - 60 km/h and place close to the dig site until I have a small attachment ( dig site - road ) and than I place a simple bus stop. the other bus stop I place to cover the residential area. A simple bus line from the city bus stop that I place and the other bus stop at the site. Run a few bus ( two bus ) and wait until peoples show up.

I put the bus stop on the wrong side of the camp. It needs to go on the side facing the dig site.
