Anyone know what "Terminal 2 (not combinable)" means?
One of my stations, Ranci, is refusing to connect to some, but not all, other cargo stations:

The fact that it will connect to some but not others has me stumped, but firstly I'm not sure I fully understand the error message precisely or the full list of circumstances where it might occur..

not combinable mean you tried to connect cargo with pax station.
you have to click on cargo icon on each station.

Yes I would expect it to say something that if that's what I tried to do, but that is not the case here. Ranci has both cargo and passenger platforms but I have as you might imagine tried to get this to work many times now and have made absolutely sure that I clicked the cargo icon of the station. The other station, the sawmill is purely cargo.

I'm wondering what other circumstances might lead to this error message.

the T crossing, the red line is interrupted, maybe missing switches.

Line Manager doesn't show the route line to stations it thinks are unreachable - you are not looking at a line for this route on the screenshot.

Yes I looked at that possibility. Both by eyeballing it and by proving beyond doubt the whole length of line was OK by creating several other routes using all of the track concerned. I'm pretty much 100% sure it can't be that.

if I have no idea I set and add to the line waypoints (or existing signals) always another one until I know better where the issue is.
Have you already tried to change the terminal?

Maybe Sawmill station missing x crossing?
Share some screens of that station and from the t crossing in the middle! or share save!

Yes, the answer was in fact that a I had built a section of four track which had switches to transfer trains across one way but not the other ('cos it wasn't needed at the time). Therefore there was in fact no path available between the stations in question. Obviously what threw me was the error message given was wrong - it should have said "no path" but instead said "Terminal 2 (not combinable).

I've credited Kodi with the official "answer" flag 'cos I suppose itr was marginally more accurate, but credit and thanks to both of you for pointing in the right direction.

Good to know you´ve found the culprit, Greg. Yes, sometimes warning messages can be a bit cryptic, particularly if they are not in the English language but in ones own language.. Every now and then i mumble a few bad words about the program because something doesn't seem to want to work but in the end it's always my own fault.. ;-)

Kinda like how I spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out why a train line was not carrying coal, before realizing I had only put box cars on it haha.

I have the same error message only it's a bus station. The bus station will connect to one bus station but it will not connect to the other station, I have tried deleting the bus station and building a new one in its place.

I tramed it up and it found the correct path. I suspect it was probably trying to connect two cities together which would be a programing error better known as a BUG.
El Presidente Oct 4, 2020 @ 6:07pm
This is definitly a bug because I can't assign vehicles to a route. Vehicle Manager appears to work as there are no error messages but the vehicles remain in the depot and there are no error messages. The game is not paused.

Weird, After several tries to fix it, I finally got the stupid pathing AI to figure it out. Part of the problem was the game some how got to city's mixed together! Good luck figureing that bug out UG.

In my case the line was OK, but I was trying to run an electric train from a station platform that had non-electric track. So also need to check not only the line itself, but all track types in the stations (if you're running electric trains).
