WHAA! I want mah Big Boy :(

I got this killer route on my machines chain. Logs from Machine fab down to saw mill, planks and steel back on stake cars. I run Class 9000's hauling 23 stake cars on this line. The stake cars slow the 9000's down to 80 clicks from 100 but they get up to 80 and they stay there the entire trip, up, down, whatever, so I'm OK with that. They make loadsamoney.

It's 1945 now and the Big Boy's have been around for a while. But the only advantage of the Big Boy over the 9000 is it can do 130 clicks. Except it can't 'cos the stake cars. No stake car upgrade in sight. No case for a Big Boy :(

No doubt by the time I unlock some faster stake cars the Big Boy itself will be obsolete and I'll have gone electric.

I feel cheated. I wanna see a Big Boy thundering through at 130 clicks!

I got the Flying Scotsman since about 1921 which can make 120 km/h, and also the high speed tracks for it but 8 years later still no wagons I can use for it its still all limited to 100 km/h or less.

I agree, it is frustrating in the vanilla game the mismatch between wagon and loco speeds. The early bridge being capped at 56mph for way too many years is also annoying
