Do Multiple Cargo stops work ?
I have a couple of towns now that when I deliver to them by road something like Tools or Bread they are too big to be fully covered by one stop.

If I add two stops in to gain full coverage will it actually work and keep some for both drops or just dump it all at the first stop and then I am wasting my time having the second included ?

Or does it even matter that I cannot cover all the industry/Commercial ?

As far as I can tell, it works pretty good. The truck will automatically spread it's freight to cover both stations.

ofc it works. you can fine-tune each stop if you like, also.

Almost all of my supply routes have two drop off points for maximum coverage. It does matter if one stop doesn't cover every building since that is where they are being delivered. You can test this by having the first stop only cover a couple buildings and the second stop covering more. You'll see that it only drops off a few at the first stop and the rest at the second stop. You'll also notice that any building not covered by the stops never gets any supply.

I think it matters a lot if you are trying to wind up production and fill your trains. The factories use the amount of wares they can ship to cities (which basically equates to the coverage of your network at the commercial/industrial building level) to calculate their Shipping rating (which means total reachable demand). They will only produce up to that amount and failure to cover buildings in a city is going to reduce Shipping rating pro rata.
