TF2 - Shinkansen...Speed Train Objective
So I am having a little trouble achieving the speed train emergency stop.
You have to have 3 trains speeding and then stop 3 trains all at the same time... or so I think? Has anyone done this challenge and do you have any tips? Merry Xmas All !

That is a tough one. I did it. The trains as to be running almost at the same time ( has to arrive at a station and stop a a station at the same time. I was so bad, I use a lots of trains on the line, and I was hoping by luck it will work out, and it did. The two train was crossing to each other between the two town ( close to each other ) and the third one was approching to a town. I got the 3 - run and right after they stop at the station at the same time. 3 - stop. Got the mission, sell most of the trains on the line, just keep two running.

The trains each have to reach 90 km/hr (all three). And then, stop as fast as possible (pause can help here).

1. all three trains must travel faster then the given Speed.
2. All three Trains must stop.(with the Buttom in the (Right Bottom?) corner of the Train)
Don't know if or how it changes if you have more then three of the Shikansen Trains

I thought you had to stop them manually.... is there an option to stop 3 at once. i have been trying to stop one then hunt the other down the try to stop that one by which time the first one stopped but was no longer registering on the objective counter aggghhh lol

You do manually, but no you have to stop them individually (the stop button is only in the specific vehicle window for the train). However, with pause it is all at once. Once they reach 90 km/hr, 3/3 at speed should check off, pause, then stop all three at the same time, then continue not paused.

It's easy.
Set the 3 trains right behind each other. I've stopped the first one manually and the others are right behind stopped with signals.I've placed many signals on the track in order to not make the track from scratch again, so that the trains can move right behind each other. Now start the first one and after all 3 have the speed needed stop the first then the second and third manually.

Awesome, this helped a great deal, rather than trying to do it individually..

I'm having problems with this mission. I have 3 trains running at over 100 km/hr but none of them are recognised at 'at speed' and stopping them at once doesn't have any effect either. I have the 3 trains on separate lines, is that the problem?

Are they all the correct type running on the correct route?

That was a tricky one to execute. First - Same line - 3 trains on a same line. The timing as to be as such that you have to stop almost at the same time. Well ... good luck ... it was a tricky puzzle to solve.

Can't you just pin the train windows for all 3, wait for them to reach the required speed, pause the game, hit stop on all 3, then resume and they all stop at once.
I don't recall this being difficult at all.
