I think I like this game, but the tutorial is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrible

I have not seen such horrible tutorial in a major title for some time, this is almost as bad as airport sim or something indi like that. It's always just like, "Now build this!". But without any instruction on how to do so or even a highlight on the button for doing so.

Did you play the campaign missions? There the basic instructions should be explained step by step.

To build the headquarters, open the company window by pressing the finance symbol in the lower left corner and switch to the Headquarters-tab. There you can build the headquarters building.

Yes I am playing them right now, that's what I'm talking about, they tell you to do stuff but don't tell you how.

I didn't know there was a Tutorial, the Campaign Missions are the closest to a Tutorial that you will find, plus look at the Guides Section and online for help and video Tutorials.

You know whats mad I actually forgot about that HQ building, dam I better start putting them in lol!

I watched some youtube videos after the tutorial on simple money making tips, gave me a good way to start making profit.

Yeah, it lacks a lot of instruction and is quite frustrating for the first few hours. Once you get used to the basics though in a weird way you will learn a surprising amount from the campaign, and across a lot of eras too, so when you do a random map you'll be well prepared for it.
