What do you mean exactly with cargo configurations? And what is clogged with trucks? Your toilet?

They're too close to each other for trains. It was ok in 1850 but now with trucks going 100 kph its cheaper by roads.

It's likely to be clogging up because your cargo stations don't have enough entrances/exits, so too many trucks are queuing up at the same entrance to get in.

It's difficult to give exact layouts because it depends on the directions everything is coming from, but if you can add entrances and assign the terminals so that different lines use different entrances and exits, you'll see a lot less queuing.

Also don't forget, you're not limited to a single station to handle a given industry building. Building another cargo station the other side of the industry to handle deliveries coming from that direction works too as that gives you another entrance/exit. That helps to keep the different lines separate so that they don't queue after each other and hold each other up.

U should also consider bus lanes (which lorries also use), wider roads, one way systems, adding traffic lights these can all help!.

Set you stations and routes up so that lines do not cross within stations and do not turn around within stations:

As was indicated above, you don't need to have all your traffic going through a single station.

you are doing it wrong, your trucks have to cycle to get out this way.
install your road connection on the left and right side not up/down (only a a second road connection on the other side of a new one after adding the platforms), this way they don't have to drive a cycle in the station, only driveing through like in the above post.

Make them have longer platforms, then there are space for more trucks

Build longer plattforms and exits and entrances on the side, you want them to enter parallel to the plattforms and leave on the other side, driving on the side along all plattforms jammes your station. There is a reason why the vanilla station has the entrances on the side.

Okay, you don't want or need 6 lines to supply a food processor, at maximum capacity it will consume the full output of 4 farms. So you only really need 4 lines at most. I usually use one line which just shuttles between the food processor and each farm in turn, i.e. Farm1 -> Proc -> Farm2 -> Proc, etc. That way I can be sure I'm picking up at the same rate at each farm.

You mentioned that the farms are too close for trains to be worth it, so it's also likely that you've just got far too many trucks. A farm will produce a maximum of 200 grain/year, so you should aim for your lines to have a rate of 200/year. Try it with just 2 or 3 trucks for each farm, you can always adjust it from there.
