GIMP editor - How to overlay a real map
I'm new to GIMP and map creation. I'd like to overlay a map over a heightmap so I can trace rivers etc. Can anyone point me to a Youtube tutorial or website that explains how to do that?. Thank you in advance.

You can also get free 16 bit grey scale heightmaps from terrainparty.com They are a bit small for doing things like making a countrywide map but they are of a good scale for Transport fever 2
