How does the "stations quality work?
I understand all other factors in city growth, and have made some pretty descent lines, but i cannot understand how the "stations" quality work. Is it coverage, capacity or something else?

Here is the town that got me wondering. Everything is good exept the "station" quality. The station itself is covering halft the town and the rest is connected by busses. Emission is low and it's not overcrowded.
I cannot figure out what else could be wrong

I noticed (from your screenshot) that one or two bus stops (stations) might be overcrowded, could this be the issue?!.

Very good observation. I expanded the bus stops and deployed more busses and things improved.

I am however still not sure if it's waiting time or overcrowding that caused it. Thanks for the help!

It's based on overcrowding. However if you just expanded the bus stops without adding more buses, the improvement would be temporary because you'd still be collecting fewer passengers than are walking to your bus stop. The number waiting would still increase, until it overflowed again.
