Yes, use multiunit (or mu) models. That also works with reversible, specifically orienting the facing direction of vehicles.
So in the case of this mod the reversed engine is tender first.

That's what the forums are for... maybe they will decide to in a future patch. I've seen many added implementations following discussion forums, which is a form of feedback.

There are two ways this issue of the way the train appears in the listings could be fixed I believe.
1. Urban Games could fix this because it is a bit silly and probably not that hard to do .
2. You would have to take the mod of the rear power car and reverse it outside of the game and then reintroduce it flipped but now forwards.
or you could live with it.
If the issue is not this then please explain a little further.
