TpF should be: "there's a mod for that".
The current trend on the other hand is where it appears as if they've just thrown a heap of text at the screen for their menus instead of any clear cut definition and with poxy little icons all over the place.
I'm also not a fan of the 'make the whole background white' (or whatever colour) when trying to do something. The first games contour lines were perfect the way they overlaid without changing anything else.. same with buildings and all the rest.
I'll probably still buy the second one but the whole look of 2 turns me off (apart from the maps themselves of course - they're beautiful to look at).
