hey i just bought the game, seen people playing it already but i cannot download it. can anyone help?

It's in beta phase, as simple as that.
Only beta testers and a few Youtubers have access to this non-final version. ALL games go through this. Alpha-Beta-[perhaps Early Access]-final release. You can't play any game before its release, unless you are a beta tester or the game is Eearly Access, which it isn't. Why is it so hard to understand?

Paying and can't play it yet? Yes, it's called pre-purchase, with a discount if you do. Jheez. Some people.

it literally makes zero sense when "youtubers" can play it even for free and people who paid cannot...

The trick is to become a chain smoker and talk a lot of bollox while playing games, like a certain popular "youtuber" with verbal diarrhoea. People seem to like blabber over gaming.

Do that, earn a few subs and you'll be meeting the devs and getting beta's in no time. I would suggest a certain substance that makes people talk a lot

yes it is hard to understand when i paid 35$ for this game and cannot play it...

You paid money for it full well knowing that the game was not yet released. I mean you can read right? The Steam page says "Release Date: Dec 11th, 2019".

So, you're going to have to wait. You pre-ordered. That's what pre-ordering means.

You got your answer, then started to throw a tantrum. That's what leads to toxicity. Notice how threads that don't have a lot of whining and bellyaching don't get toxic. Perhaps for future reference.

Of course it makes sense to me Marketing and Free Pass to Tubers, it is common practice with games. But then I was taught to read what was in front of me before taking action. My suggestion for those who have paid and expect a Trophy rigtht away. Get your Mommy to wipe your tears and change your diaper, then put in for a refund

Your fault for not taking a few seconds to make sure the game was actually out. You pre-ordered which means you wait until release date.

Not if you bought it on the understanding that it didn't release until Dec 11. Which it does say on the steam page, that's your fault for not reading before buying. You can either wait like the rest of us or claim yer money back, but you have neither right nor rime to play the game until the 11th. Those who are making streams etc were part of a closed beta, who were tied by NDA to not show the game until 8pm on the 27th or there abouts. Those folks earned their right to play early by testing the game for the devs. And to a degree it's free advertising to the world to hype the release.
