Mission 5 Construction Site 3 Stuck
I completed all tasks in this mission but I am stuck on delivering steel and stone to construction site 3. I had a train that was delivering the steel just fine but then I got sidetracked with a side task. It eventually delivered all of the steel and I got a check mark before I started with the stone. However, Now it is not accepting stone or anymore steel for that matter.

I have the stone going from the quarry to the port and then a boat takes it across and then a train runs it from the port to construction site 3. However, it is acting like there is a break in the chain because nothing is moving out of the quarry. I have double and triple checked everything. I even watched Youtube videos of people doing this mission and my setup is no different. I am wondering if delivering all of the steel before I even started with the stone has messed something up?

If I look at the details of construction site 3 it lists both the quarry and steelworks as suppliers but it has zero stored even though I delivered 60 steel already. Has anyone run into this issue?

Yes, I have the same issue. It's preventing me from playing further since I can't complete. The quarry just stops producing. I've tried it with truck stops, with a train stop. Completely redid the scenario three times with various configurations, and as soon as construction site three opens up, the quarry stops allowing me to ship stone.

This is frustrating that I'm now unable to proceed through the campaign, for a game I just purchased, during a time of year I finally get some time off work to play....

Some screenshots showing the abrupt termination with no line changes.

where is the ship that ships the stone to CS1 to transport it by train to CS3

I restarted the mission and had the same issue so I started playing around with things a lot. I ended up figuring out the problem. I originally used the train on the construction site 1 side of the water, to transport steel. I later re-purposed that train to use it to transport the stone from the dock to construction site 3. The problem was, the train was stuck on picking up logs and steel. I couldn't configure it in the line or train options to force it to pick up stone. I ended up having to sell that train and create a new train. I then redid the harbor to construction site 3 route and put the new train on it and it started working.

This seems like a bug to me. You should be able to change the type of material you are picking up with a train as long as the wagons allow it but, at least in this scenario, it was locked for me.

As that zone is locked, you need a train to ship to train. Stones are a different wagon, and yes you can change what you pickup.

it's clear that you can't set up pick up for stone if your train (or any other vehicle) has no waggon for it. (as a steel/wood waggon can't transport stone/bulk goods)

I had the same problem, but it is a simple solution: You need to change the cars on the train from the second dock to the construction site as they cannot carry both steel and stone. The stone will start to produce again once you have done this, assuming you have set up all other lines. I suggest delivering the steel first, then adapting the cars, then finally delivering the stone.

I have the same issue. Googled lots of people also with the same issues with nothing that seems to solve the issue. Although I did not solve the issue for this level. I did find a replacement configuration file 'base_config.lua' file that allows you to turn on Debug Mode within the game menu. I then can skip this Scenario and continue to the next. I did find this file with Cheathappens however you need to be a member. Hope this helps!

btw. on the swiss map, the same happen to me. Try to tranport bread into the city but the trucks only accecpt Iron Ore, still broken :lunar2019deadpanpig:

It's the train wagons that accept specific goods in almost all cases. Ships tend to either be everything oil-related or everything else. And almost all trucks do accept all cargo. It's just the last train leg that you need two wagons, after the first train and boat. Also, it's intended that those sites only become active after meeting specific tasks.

Same problem here. I solve it.
First i had a train on the side to the construction site 3 with 3car with steel and 3 car stone.
After i delete this train and buy a new one with only stone, now it works.

I figured it out guys.
When you check "Consumer" on Mysovsk Quarry you will see that only consumer is Construction site 3. That means quarry won't produce stones until you have full connection from Quarry to Construction site 3.

I did it via:
Quarry -> Baykalsk - train
Baykalsk -> Port Baykal - ship
Port Baykal -> Constr. site 3 - train

Doesn't matter how, but you need to have full route from quarry to constr. site 3 with trains and ships designated to Lines and out there.

Hello,
Johnny.C[Ǝ]sh's way works, but i need to precise one detail:

You need:
.) One Train line transporting Steel from "Port Baykal" to "Port Baykal cargo station"

.) One Train line transporting Stone from "Mysovsk" quarry to "Baykalsk cargo station"
.) One Ship line transporting Stone from "Baykalsk cargo station" to "Port Baykal harbor"
(the stone will automatically be transferred from the harbor to the train station"

AND (and here's the important part):
.) One Train line transporting Stone AND Steel from "Port Baykal cargo station" to "Construction site cargo station".

The important bit:
Transporting the steel directly from the steel factory at "Port Baykal" to the Construction Site doesnt trigger the stone production.

The Steel needs to be dropped off at "Port Baykal cargo station" by one train and transported from there to the construction site by another train.

This other train can have wagons for Steel AND wagons for Stone (doesnt have to be 2 separate trains, but i havent tried that one out)

The moment i had those 3 train lines and the ship line set up, the stone started piling up on the train station next to the quarry.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,
AlexisVanWien

My problem was that the cargo harbors provided for you cannot accommodate the larger cargo ship. You'll need the small one to haul the stone across the river.
Wow. this game is tiresom. It's like in alpha state. How hard would it be to give you a warning that you have the wrong cargo wagons on that route or atleast give some hint as to where ♥♥♥♥ goes wrong. I spent 3 hours bashing my head in before finding this thread

Aaargh! Same problem. And the cause isn't any of the above, at least. I have a train running right up to the Canal site, and I'm delivering steel that way, successfully. I have a different train, with gondolas for carrying rocks, taking it from there to Bucharest, where there is a truck stop and trucks to take it to the right places in all three parts of Bucharest. The train stop is the same one I used to deliver oil to Bucharest earlier, so the train to truck transfer works, I know. And I've made sure that the trucks hauling around Bucharest are appropriate for carrying rocks. What am I missing?!?!?

I already had to restart this mission because of the earlier case of hauling oil to Bucharest. It was working successfully, and went to exactly 49 (of 50 target) and then wouldn't produce any more. I finally figured out that I had added the connection from the plastic maker to the plastic export to trade for Iron ore, and that made the oil refinery starve all other consumers. I added it only because it was obvious.

I really hate in this system how it allocates goods for certain shipping lanes. Just make the goods and put them there, maybe give me an option to reserve some for a particular lane, but by default it should just have a general pool of goods that the next thing coming that wants those goods can take from. It is even stupid if you have a line to something that produces 1 for 2, so you make the line A-B-A-B-C, that is, two trips to the source before you continue on to the final destination. It allocates some of the final product for the trip back to A, which then plugs up your cars so you don't get a full load of source, etc. Freaking stupid!
