Digging up gemstones

In mission 5: Does someone know where to dig them up? Can't seem to find them :(

Look around the mountain slopes near the tip of the lake. If you zoom out and look towards the lake from the shorter edge of the map you should be able to see a red circle.

I have no idea, it would help if you knew which way was south west! Career is a pain in the arse sometimes.

Ok, i found it, those are realyl a pain.

As Arzi said: Look at the tip of the lake (where Site 3 is). You can see a ring of mountains a bit in the shape of the lake. Now go to the end of the map the lake tip is pointing at and look "back" at the lake. On the larger non tree mountain part is a small red circle in the top right. No idea how to describe it better.

Probably doesn't help that there isn't a compass in game (unless I'm missing it) after a bit of moving around where the hell is north?

And that is not the first mission that has that problem.

There is an actual circle(red I believe) that shows you where to dig, so before you spend a few hundred million digging randomly look for that :)

Protip: Use a layer like the contour layer used above. With everything grey, those colored circles for the various "quests" stand out like a sore thumb :)

Yes, I was sure that was the north end of the map, so I was looking at entirely the wrong place.
