The Debug Mode

To activate the Debug Mode, change the according value in the settings.lua
debugMode = true,
or toggle the option in the game´s advanced options.

Hotkeys

The debug mode enables the following hotkeys:
AltGr + a – Reload sound sets
AltGr + g – Toggle GUI visibility
AltGr + l – Toggle Lane visibility
AltGr + m – Add 500k money to the account

This one, and not only roads but also on stations, factories (if they have driveable paths) and rail road tracks. It also shows the person and cargo paths on stations and roads.

AltGr is the right alt key on a US keyboard, this marked as AltGr on most non US keyboards.
But if you are going to cheat with money why not activate the 'No Cost' mod and then you don't have to bother with money anymore.

Why don't anyone tell him that the "barrel" is in the game?! Just click over your money (down and left) and change the numbers. I don't find reasoning in the other 3 commands.
Personal experience -> try without money to see how stuff works. Then play with money.

I meant the technical lines, not the visible lanes. E.g. there are lines for people to use the underpasses at train stations.

not sure if this is still relevant but I tried a bit and it seems that the key combination for the money is

AltGr+Shift+M

it doesn't seem to matter if right or left shift but it needs the shift key

That doesn't help someone with a keyboard that doesn't have a key labelled "AltGr". As many keyboards targetted at English speakers don't.

use the sandbox mode mod that comes with the game, click in your balance and change it to whatever you want
