Can't accomplish "sell remaining stocks" in Chapter 1, Mission 4: "Pacific Paradise" [SOLVED]
I'm stuck at what seems to be the last step of the mission, in which I'm supposed to sell the remaining stock of manufactured goods. However, I've zeroed out all manufactured goods -- they're liquor and silver spoons -- and stopped production. But I can't trigger the last objective. Is anyone else having this problem? Anno 1800 already died for me when it ground to a screeching halt because of a bug in the campaign scripting. I'd hate to see Transport Fever 2 suffer the same fate. :(

Tearing down everything is completely unrelated to the 0/90. This isn't a game issue or a bug, it's user error and not paying attention to the actual objective.

You have to bring alcohol and/or silver spoons to the market in El Fuerte. It is clearly marked in the town by the demand icons, and the mission pop-up box will have a link to take you directly to it. Once you have delivered 90 of those products to the market (in any combination, so it can just be 90 units of alcohol), you complete the objective.

Yeah.. This is a terrible mission. When you get it you first have to deliver 90 spoons or alcohol to the new warehouse. Then you must delete everything you built in the main city, also some of the roads around the city. You see when the numbers are going up, you don't have to delete everything else, only in the city.

I removed both Towns but the number never went up, i'll have another go tomorrow and report back.

HansOlav thank you for the explanation. I was stuck on this before the game crashed several times and lost all my progress on that mission. Hoping to get back to that stage tomorrow.

My issue is that I was continuously bringing wood to the silver mine so when it asked me to do that for the last (?) mission, I didn't see it on the screen. Then I got the message my silver mine collapsed --but my mine is still fine! So no collapse, cannot find the worms (for the bonus mission) and nothing waiting for me at the warehouse. Going to try to bring spoons and alcohol to the warehouse --but usually these games require demand or they won't supply the line.

You have to take alcohol and spoons *to* the market (it's not a warehouse although it looks like one). To find the worms you need to use the terrain tool and lower the terrain in the circles that appear.

On the mission itself, click on the words. It will highlight exactly where the goods are supposed to go.

I spent so long building up my utopia, only to destroy it. :(

Ah thank you! I will try taking them to the market (instead of expecting to deliver them from the market to the town). I did finally complete the worms mission -- the highlighted area appeared when i restarted the game and only went for alcohol (and not both alcohol and spoons as I did previously).

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Aw, rats, where were you earlier, Mr. Landwalker? You're absolutely right. In my defense, I was thrown by the idea of "remaining stock". I didn't have any remaining stock, and I thought that's what the 0/90 meant, but that number wasn't going up no matter how many silver spoons I made.

But, yes, you're absolutely correct and thanks for clarifying for me. Now can you please fix my Anno 1800 campaign? :)

If you want to buy me a copy of Anno 1800 I'd be glad to take a look at it. I hear the Gold Edition is on sale right now... =P

Glad to hear you got sorted out. I agree that the game doesn't do the best job of clearly explaining what's going on (and the fact that some people use "stock" to refer to rail cars certainly doesn't help).

And sorry if I came off a bit snippy. I'd been sitting in the car service center for an hour waiting on my truck at that point.

No apology necessary. I think I'm conditioned to expect bugs, so it's always a delight when the solution to something going wrong is "look a little closer". :)

This mission clearly has some logical issues, but it is working. "Sell remaining stock" actually means "sell as much as the counter indicates", and the factory chain will still work to supply all you need, eventhough the story suggests the opposite. You can keep most of your lines running. Just change them to the new final targets.

Anno 1800... is that still an Epic store exclusive? I didn't see it on Steam :/

You can also get it from Ubisoft's own store, but otherwise yeah, I think so.
