Delivery to Cactus Farm

I'm playing Campaign 1 mission 4 and need to deliver fertilizer from the guano warehouse on the guano island to the cactus farm. I place a cargo dock on the guano island and connected to the guano road. But the dock does not show any guano on it.I have a ship on a route to deliver from the guano island to cactus farm. It has made several trips and still no guano on the dock. I watched a youTube video by Raptor and did everything he did which showed guano on the dock.

Check everything is connected to the road network . Buildings should highlight when you click on the dock etc.

Every thing is connected and the dock when I click it the guano is highlighted white.

Make sure it's not a passenger ship, is all I can think of.

It's a long time since I played this mission, but I think I had this problem, and I solved it by building a road depot on the guano island (the docks didn't seem to want to encompass the guano) and another near the island docks, and moving the guano to the docks by road. I think I also slipped up and bought the wrong type of ship, you have to double check the ship can actually carry guano!.I've skipped through a couple of video's of this mission (as I say it's sometime since I played it) but i couldn't even see a mention of guano, its odd!.🤔

Thank you guys, I've played a bit. First run through campaign though. I had the right type of ship, harbor, everything was connected correctly. I was gonna try the truck delivery method (have trucks transport the Guano to a dock placed a bit further down the island, but I ended up just calling it a day instead. Playing through again but doing the hotel route.

I GOT IT! You do have to make sure that the El Fuerto Cactus Farm Guano delivery is highlighted. A cargo port near the cactus farm isn't going to cut it. I had to place a depot and tram stop to make sure the trucks delivered the guano. THEN the boat will begin delivering the "consumed" guano product.

Can someone explain what "make sure that the El Fuerto Cactus Farm Guano delivery is highlighted" means?

This still isn't fixed?? I had this issue 3 years ago and never was able to get it working so it was abandoned.

that the building behind the farm, which recieves the dung, has a white texture too when placing the station. (note that after one delivery the mission end with removing this demand)
