Me, I can't build in the dark, nor do I want to waste time being in the dark.
and let's hope a timetable for the trains.
* If you want to know how a day/night cycle can totally shut down your playing time for half the game, go play Workers and Resources.
* If you want to see what a micro-management nightmare would be when you add timetables, go play A-Train 9.
Please, no fixed day/night "cycle" or "timetables". Those things have been tried and they suck.
Well the option on / off would be nice . Build during the day, look at the lights at night :-)
IF they add "night", I want it when I want it.
However if many light sources are too heavy for rendering, it would be nice to have at least the sunlight moving from east to west and changing colours of the sky during daytime.
I agree, pointless feature really, I would prefer them to concentrate on the actual game play elements than visuals that are pointless. D/N cycles are only useful if they have a function in the game - e.g. fewer traffic at night etc. but with the time scale of the game this would be just daft.
