"STEAM Validation Rejected"

This error comes up when I try to join a game. What to do?

I restarted my Steam and no second launcher showed up on my library, still getting this error.

Is it “Digital Paintball” or “Digital Paintball Redux” that shows up once?

For me i have two “Digital Paintball Redux” but the icons are a bit different. the one that works has no black box around the little paintball player icon. the one with the black box around the player icon is the one that shows up in recent activity and dose not work. hope that helps someone.

I reinstalled this game, restarted Steam and only showing 1 Redux version in my library. I am continuing to get the Steam validation rejected. Verified game files as well

should be two copies of digital paitball in you libary click the second one and play thats what i just did it worked also make sure halflife 1 is installed

I have HL1 installed. Like I said in my other post, only 1 Redux is showing in my library even after restarting Steam
