game is broken

The loading screen doesn´t finish. The loading truck just drives out of the screen and then nothing else happens. When you press buttons, you´re sitting in a glitchy truck that is floating in the air. You can´t reset the truck. The map i showing that you are in the sea. There´s absolutely nothing you can do but exit the game.

when i start the game all i get to see it the made with Unity screen and it crashes back to desktop. Before the latest update i could play the game just fine, now for some reason they screwed it up.

I thought the update was to correct the "UNDER WATER BUG", but no, we got a new fanzy loading screen :/

It is clear now, that the dev's have no clue what they are doing, making new loading screen, instead of fixing a game breaking bug.

I was so stupid to buy all dlc's, but they are not getting any support from me any more. Maybe the Dev's are not so stupid, as i state in the beging, this is clearly a cash grab. So they get what they want, easy money.

ok - here´s a google translated dev answer to a negative review - it COULD help in our case :D

"Regarding the solution that some players cannot enter the game when the card home screen appears after the update
The first step: win+r
Step 2: Enter regedit
Step 3: Follow this path to find the corresponding table Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation
Step 4: Right-click TimeZoneKeyName, select Modify, and change to: China Standard Time"

So, if someone has got the time to edit his registry and try this: hf and gl ^^

Would be nice if you´d share your experiences here - and NO: I´m not responsible for any silly problems you might encounter with that method :P


p.s. kinda cute that a dev is explaining to folks how to manipulate their registry to suit their coding instead of patching said coding to any registry XD

well, honestly.... this is ridiculous.
first, " cannot enter the game when the card home screen appears " as error diescription does not match my problem. I can enter the game, but my truck is located in the chinese sea some meters under water.
second, I cannot test if this regards new games only, since I have no savegame from before.
third, how a time-zone change should affect the starting coordinates of my player controller is far beyond my imagination - and I read science fiction for almost half a century.

I will continue to hope for a real solution by the developers.

XD hey, that´s been the answer to a "truck-diver" here on Steam - I´ve just inserted the negative review with a dev response in the almighty translation box to get some latin letters. Some parts of the error description might have been translated loosely, but afaik that´s about the only response the dev has given on Steam. Ok, if someone is really enjoying his Corvid lockdown, he can insert all the chinese threads in the forums into the translator... ;)

That fix is for an old bug. I can remeber trying it.

It is both a new game, and old save. I have tried new game and old save on the server. It is the same, under water.

k ^^ so the devs don´t seem to have a solution for the divers. You can´t even tell wether they are aware of the problem. There´s 100+ players "playing" it at any given time and I don´t think that they´re all into diving sims. So I guess, that it´s just a user config that´s making problems. I´m using Win 10 and an i9 and a GeForce RTX. Anybody here having problems with another gfx card or OS?
