Can't use my special ability after unlocking it

I'm pressing T at full charges and it says T is the button to hit but it does nothing. Anyone have that issue or know how to solve it?

Abilities must be charged. They also only recharge during a combat.

That's the thing, I'm at full charges and it does nothing. Using my other abilities work just fine like hitting V to slam, and pull combos and all that sort but just that ability doesn't activate for me. I played 3 chapters more after the fact and still doesn't work. I just uninstalled the game cause it was annoying me

Playing on controller it's the two thumbsticks. I've noticed you have to hold them and it's not a click and it happens kind of thing. You can't be actively dodging, attacking, blocking, or staggered to use it. It also won't really do much if you're too far away or aren't "locked" on a target.

Hmm okay I don't recall holding my button trying to do it. When I get the chance to play again I'll see if it ends up working and get back to you. Thank you for the response

I had this problem (playing coop) today and I solved it by changing the button (Mouse 4 instead of T)

In my first playthrough (when I got 100% last year) in single player, I didn't have this problem.

I also tried to do that and changed it to my mouse 4, but nothing happened. I'll try that again and I'll also try the other comments suggestion about it. Thank you for the response
