Game crash

Hi guys, does anyone have the problem where the game crashes at the stage called Smoke and Mirrors? I get to a certain point then it crashes

mine also crashes all the time "d3d device being lost" :(

Are the devs working at the problem? as I was streaming it and then it happened twice, its embarrassing really.

Please contact Focus Support when you can about your issue, it generally helps out more if you just directly submit a ticket so they can get the relevant logs if needed.

I tried this last night all I did was I went into the steam folder where the game is installed, right clicked on the game icon and went to compatibility mode and chose windows 7, then launched the game and clicked on continue the game worked then.

Hello there,

There's a known crash issue on that specific level for AMD GPU users, devs are actually working on it !

In the case you're still stuck with that silly crash, you can still bypass it by closing all unecessary third party softwares working on the background (such as OBS) AND setting the Overall Quality to LOW in Advanced Video settings of the game.

You should be able to set the visual settings to your preferred ones after finishing the level.

yup, I'm having the same issue near the end of the same level, Smoke and Mirrors...

Intel/NVIDIA user btw... I've tried everything as recommended above with no luck...

I crash all sorts all over the place as an AMD user, not just that specific level.

Yea doesn't sound fun at all. I'm just hoping I can make some progress tomorrow and finally finish this mission at least.

I also (with an AMD card) am experiencing a crash during the Lightning in a bottle mission. It happens when you have to throw dynamite to open up the path. Luckily the fix of turning everything down to low settings let me proceed.

I also want to covey my disappointment in FWH seeing as they responded 10 months ago here and no patches/ updates or any sort of communication has happened. Shame, this game is really good fun and could see it evolving into a solid series. But what do i know, I only play them.
