Should I get this or just play Red Dead again.

Just trying to save some dosh for the holidays.

Although both games are western theme. Evil West and Red Dead Redemption are basically two different genres. You can compare Evil West to games like God of war,devil may cry,ninja garden,etc.... With more focus on guns compare to swords you see typical in a hack & Slash. While Red dead redemption 2 is more of a Grand theft auto game set in western times. If you like games like God of war,devil may cry,etc... Get it. But if your thinking of buying western games in the same vein as Red dead redemption 2. Your probably better of skipping or wait for the hand to go on sale 60% to 80% off.

In the mean time you might want to play Gungrave. It the closest thing right now to Evil West,gameplay wise. It came out on Gamepass today. So you might want to give give it a try

I said the closest thing not the exact same one. Besides Gungrave in many ways is a good example of what Evil West might play like. Despite Gungrave might not be a good game.
