Dose Gunvolt feel overall weaker than Copen at times?

For context, I beat the true final boss as Copen, but haven't been able to do so with Gunvolt yet.

Copen is easily so much better than Gunvolt in every single aspect

Yeah, both in mobility and raw power, Gunvolt is inferior than Acura (Copen's JP name, I just prefer it, don't mind me)
atleast without accounting for Skills, Septimal Surge however will allow Gunvolt to murder any boss easily, specially so while using Dragonspheres, Crashbolts, or Voltaic Chains/Grand Strizer

Also remember your peas do still do damage, if you really wanna do damage, you gotta flashfield and also keep pelting enemies with your shots
