Let's be logical here. Ludwig couldn't have co-commentated on one of my speedruns or liked some posts for Dragon Appreciation Day on Twitter if he were dead.

Word on one of the other threads is that Dreaming Door doesn't have a lot of extra money for working on Hierophant.

Wish you would reconsider using Kickstarter or Indiegogo, Ludwig! Or make use of prominent members of the community for alpha playtesting. You have fans who would support you bigly.

The last update we had from Ludwig on this topic was that he is strongly considering opnening a Patreon the coming months (and yeah, he's definitely not dead, his last message was from a month ago and I see him online on Discord quite frequently)

My podcast did an interview with him a few months back, the game is not dead, neither are his dreams, once he opens that Patreon/Kickstarter he has lots of loyal fans willing to help him!

Ludwig should use ko-fi too, in that place they don't charge you any fee. Patreon on the other hand does charge you fees, I know because I have a patreon and it's always annoying that they take away a piece of your earnings.

Ko-fi takes a chunk too if you do the monthly options. They just dont for standard donations.
