Golden Treasure: The Great Green

Statistiche:
Coloration
So once you become no longer a hatchling, how exactly does the coloration work? It says your elements effect how you look, and you, physically are absent from most pictures besides battle scenes after reaching a certain age, probably so someone didn't need to draw in a rediculous degree of different dragon colorations and such.

But how does it work in more detail? The changes your elements bring seem so subtle- I often find myself looking the same as I did last life.

It starts with a base coloration that's rather drab-looking. As each individual element increases, certain portions of the player-Draak's body increase in color saturation, different areas for each color. It is difficult to notice a difference at the start of Part 2 as it is difficult to get your stats high enough to make big differences.

But if you look at the possibilities side-by-side, it might make a little more sense:

High Water (" "): https://i.imgur.com/bzrIcqI.jpg
High Earth (" "): https://i.imgur.com/O6MrjbB.jpg
High Air (" "): https://i.imgur.com/TowuqUq.jpg

It's also a bit more noticable in Part 3, especially if you've been neglecting your Water mastery and won't even have blue crest-feathers.

You can also see the image of the player-Draak at any time by clicking on the tiny pool/puddle just outside your cave, so the colors might be more vibrant at the end of Part 2 or Part 3 compared to the forced viewing during the transition.

Ahhh I see interesting!

Is there a "Middle" range for coloration too? I imagine doing something gradiual would be a ton more work.

And do you also happen to have a example for a dragon with low in everything?

Thank you!

Actually, gradual is the easiest approach and what they do. It's done in layers, like you'd have in Photoshop. You have your base dragon, and a layer each for Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. And then based off of the mastery for each one (scale of 1 to 100), it increases saturation and opacity for each color. Each point increase makes that color just ever-so-slightly bolder and brighter.

Well, there's two ways to take that, I think...

Technically, this is as low as they go, but I think that's unrealistic. This would literally be zero in all stats:

In terms of actually seeing in the game, you might get an individual color lower than this, but not the whole dragon:

Oh dang, that sounds like a ton of work.

And thanks! That's really cool!

I wonder if this all will be used again somehow when the Time of Creation dlc comes out.
