Yes, riddles are simple one-word answers. And worry not; they are not case-sensitive.
Also, you are rewarded with an explosion of gold sparks when you correctly answer riddles.

I've encountered four. Two of them I know how to get right.

hm... zerged the quest for a while (was hard work as i started every attempt from the point you hatch)

got at least 3 and found all of them...

needed some attempts to finish them all.

seems that the amount of asked questions change too.

while testing i only got two questions and could pass after answering the last one

in my "now it counts" play through i had to answer three :X
