What'd we think of the extended ending? (full spoilers)
I rather enjoyed it. It was fun to walk through the environment again without a threat or danger, and honestly, the meta twist was kind of funny. I never take these kinds of stories too seriously (although I hold that the main game is rather intense) so it was funny of them to acknowledge just how crappy but hard to make most slasher movies were by making it all a movie.

Also, did anyone else think that, instead of the real Easter Ripper being in the trunk at the end, it was actually the original ER actor's corpse in Emma's trunk? It's obviously left ambiguous, and that's fun, but I couldn't help but notice that everyone was like "oh yeah, the original actor just disappeared." It was a fun final shot either way.

Glad you enjoyed
It's mostly there as an epilogue to provide some closure
I liked the ending as it was- it was goofy and out of nowhere. But this epilogue was really fun too!

Yes, things definitely don't add up by the end. One actor has disappeared, and there is a "real" Easter Ripper in Emma's (or Sara's) car, in the end? And they said that people actually did die in that house? So... is the whole thing true or not? Epilogue to provide some closure my donkey.

I immediately questioned it myself. I don't think there's any movement in the ER's body so it's hard to tell if it's Nick waiting for her or if Emma is actually a real murderer and murdered Nick. The fact his back is to the trunk makes me think it's the latter.

The way I saw it was that Nick is a method actor and is most likely taking it too far to the point of becoming the Easter Ripper himself.

i think its nice and could go to spark some more theory's

my theory is that the Easter ripper at the end might be apart of the CFV

i don't think that its the ER's corpse in Sarah's trunk because it was moving

Thought it was absolutely delightful. The main game is obviously a video nasty, but the extended ending is a slightly camp 80's Hammer Horror conclusion. I even liked how ambiguous it is about who's in Emma's truck and why. Also, massive props for relighting the scene, adding new environments (and door sequences), character models and poses, writing, acting...! It's a treat after the nerve shredding main course and I appreciated all of it!

That kind of weird attention to detail is why I love Puppet Combo. They're short games but thought is put into every single minute of playtime
