apprenticeships
Does the cost per month translate into the average salary? Do the higher per month apprenticeships mean a higher salary?

Usually yes, they have a linear link, but this can be different depending on character traits, etc that modify job revenue and growth.
Usually the first one in the list of available apprenticeships will be the highest paying one for a given character

Some of the apprenticeships for trades/professions seem to come with bonuses or maluses to influence and prestige. For example being an actor seems to have a -0.01 (negative) effect on prestige and being a litteratus seems to have an explicit 0 (perhaps positive at later levels) effect on influence. These effects are not listed on the Apprenticeships chooser but would be useful to know. Also, one would think a grammaticus would have influence (e.g. on later generations of citizens) but it doesnt appear to in the game.
