System Upgrader: Open to all
It feels bad that the system upgrader is locked behind a engineering trait that requires a lot of genes to reach.

As a 3-4 man crew there's usually someone who's put points into the engineering tree so it's not as much of an issue with having it locked during play (granted they are a veteran player with enough gene points to unlock it), but it makes it unfair when you only have 1 or 2 players and one person always has to drive (thus investing in the helm tree). Usually the second player has to choose investing between the engineering tree or the EVA skill tree, with the EVA one being more valuable (IMO) when only one person can guard the ship and the other is helm.

I really feel, considering this new endless pilgrimage/endless play that's been changed in the recent update, that this should be unlockable by other players invested in other gene trees. Either that or make it an option higher up in the engineering tree; So as a solo player I could invest mostly in helm points and some in the engineering to unlock this.

That's right...
And that's why in the next Update, the Upgrader will no longer be locked behind a perk :).
We also felt this is a bit too limited, and basically requires some players to spec into Engineer, only to get some basic progression options.

Thank you for your feedback, it really helps when it comes to deciding whether our intended changes make sense :)
