Getting Brain Guns for the Cruiser

Is there a way to get them reliably? Would love to use the Cruiser solo or with small groups (2p) because the Small Vessel feels sluggish compared to the Cruiser, which is sad.

They can be found in missions, but there's no reliable way like in the frigate.

If you are willing to use mods, there's one that makes benediction b.r.a.i.n turrets craftable. But in vanilla, just like M200Chan said, you can only find them as drops during missions or as rewards from completing them.

Unlucky. So many design choices I just don't get. From the questionable talent choices to the lack of craftables... could IMO find far more success if it didn't feel as limiting in some aspects.

Well, it is still in early access so things will get added and some will get changed. Devs are known to listen our feedback and ideas so if you want to see something happen, write a post about it :)

In the next Update, the Fabricator gets much of love, and it will be upgradeable.
With that, more crafting options - and also the Ship System Upgrader will no longer require a perk.

Ooh, that sounds really cool and I'm really happy to hear that the system upgrader will be easier to get for solo players without having to sacrifice piloting perks :D
