Therefore I believe that they share/sell/buy certain "game assets" among them, I wouldn't even be surprised if they agreed on when to release the game, so as not to undermine profits.
I repeat this is my personal hypothesis as an answer to the question and it could be true, shared or completely wrong.
To conclude, I think JUMP SHIP is better than VOID CREW, and anyone can understand the reasons why by watching any jump ship videos, to mention one of the many differences, there is a combat FPS component, which void crew doesn't have.
But then added a ton more things into their game.
In the end does it even matter?
nothing in our world isn't copied from something that came first, in the past.
Think about how you would do a space game, then write out EXACTLY how every part of the game would work ON PAPER... and look at how it ends up exactly like any space game out there.
Void crew is great and worth owning.
Jump ship will probably be a lot better to play when it comes out, it doesn't mean I won't come back to feel how void crew plays every once in a while.
Same deal as with Call of Duty and Battlefield, two similarly-genred games but with wildly different features. Jump Ship has FPS Combat, I know that much, and Void Crew most certainly doesn't.
im simply asking a question. no need to be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. and no, not because they are "both space games"
the assets look the same, the UI looks the same, the ship layout looks similar. the basic game loop seems the same. like they are clones of eachother.
well it was a dumb answer but not a dumb question. so goodbye.
no it doesn't matter, i was just curious how that works.
