Add full 6 degrees of freedom to ship movement.
Please add the ability to roll, pitch, and yaw so we have 360° freedom. I'd also like to see inertia added so we can continue to drift along the forward momentum vector while having the ship face in a different direction.

Also, please add HOTAS and TrackIR support.

I'd second this as this would make it equivalent to Elite Dangerous' flight assist off / cold orbit flight mechanics
I don't think the game was made with that in mind. There's a good chance the enemies wouldn't work right and it does noting for the game after that.

Im fairly confident they covered the whole idea of allowing to have the full "360 movement" in that the ships just werent coded with that in mind, it would require a drastic over-haul of alotta systems to add this in (not counting the number of bugs and other things this would bring)

Devs have explicitly stated they chose to not design the full freedom of movement.
Seems weird to do a spaceship game and not have common flight abilities. Imagine a racing game where you just press the gas because the car wasn't designed with turning in mind.
